Run through all of the plays in your playbook to get a substantial helping of Tokens, which you can use to purchase Madden Cards. Madden NFL 2004 Earn Madden Cards With EA Bio Gain levels in your EA Bio by completing specific challenges and playing other EA Sports title to unlock Madden Cards. Unlockable Cards include:
Madden NFL 2004 Unlock Madden Cards in Mini-Camp Get Gold in Mini-Camp challenges to unlock Madden Cards. Cards directly relate to the challenges you complete. For instance, getting a Gold in the Ground Attack challenge will yield a Priest Holmes Card. Be sure to get Golds on all of the difficulty levels to collect all of the cards! Madden NFL 2004 Change the Music Hold SQUARE and press R1 or L1. Madden NFL 2004 Hint: Avoid The Cap The salary cap is pretty easy to manipulate. If you don't like a player for whatever reason, than re-negotiate his contract so that he doesn't get a signing bonus. Than work out a trade with another team and you won't take a hit against the salary cap for trading him. Madden NFL 2004 Hint: Trade for Any Player In Franchise Mode, Create a player (or 3, or 20) and set all of his attributes low so that his overall rating is 12. Sign him as a free agent for cheap then return to Create-A-Player and max out his stats. You can now trade this player to any team for the very best players in the NFL. Madden NFL 2004 Hint: Free Advertising At the beginning of each week, check a game later than yours time-wise (Monday night being the best choice so after you play your game, the week doesn't end). Before playing your game, go to Owner's Box and max out money on all advertising. Play your game and you'll receive the attendence for the max advertising. When your game is over, go back to Owner's Box and drop all advertising to $0. Go back to Play Week, uncheck the checked game and simulate the rest of the week. When you go back to Owner's Box and check your balance sheet, the amount of overall spending for attendance will stay the same, but you'll recieve the attendance boost. Wait a couple years after you favorite star retires, and he will show up in the coaching free agent list to be signed as an assisant coach or an head coach. Madden NFL 2004 Hint: #1 Draft Pick Every Time In fantasy mode, first you must disable the trade deadline. Then after playing 16 games, you will be in the last week of the season. Now simply take a look at the standings and trade your draft picks straight across for theirs. Madden NFL 2004 Hint: Challenge After 2 Minute Warning Usually you can't challege a play after the two minute warning. But after the questionable call, pick any play and then when you're walking up to the line of scrimmage, press and hold SQUARE. If you're lucky, it'll work, but only on plays that are normally challengeable. Madden NFL 2004 Hint: Touchdown Dances If your man breaks free for a touch down, hold L2 or R2 along with TRIANGLE, SQUARE, CIRCLE, or X to make the player who scored do different touchdown dances. Madden NFL 2004 Hint: Get Gold Terrel Owens Card Reach level 16 in the EA Sports Bio to get a gold Terrel Owens card. Madden NFL 2004 Hint: Early Break On kickoff, while playing with 2 players, have the second person keep taping up on the joystick and tapping circle. You should be about ten yards ahead of the kicker when he sends the ball booming. Madden NFL 2004 Hint: Run The Opposing Team Into The Red In Franchise mode, control an opposing team during the off season (preferably a team with a good record last season). Make a new stadium for that team with the smallest capacity possible and make the city only pay for 550K. The next year they well have negitive assets and low attendance. Madden NFL 2004 Hint: Complete Most Passes Pick a team and a playbook with the formation I form Twins (for example, the Eagles' playbook). Hot route your Tight End on a streak by hitting TRIANGLE, X, UP on the D-pad, and hot route your slot reciever on and up and in towards the middle of the field. Put the reciever that you just hot routed into motion and hike the ball when he is right behind your tight end. You can complete 95% of your passes with this.
